Huxley Associates has been voted as one of the top 50 places to work.

Huxley Associates is delighted to announce that it has been named as one of the Top 50 Best Workplaces in the UK for the fourth consecutive year and for the first time into the Best Workplaces in The Netherlands (in 15th position).

The reputation of this award is growing as employers realise the importance of ensuring that their employees feel valued. As a result, the competition to receive these accolades is becoming more intense.

The results are based predominately on independent employee surveys covering credibility, respect, fairness, pride and camaraderie. This encompasses the level of trust and quality of relationships that exist through the organisation.

Huxley Managing Director Mike Smith said: "Being on the UK list for the fourth year running is an honour and being 15th position in The Netherlands the first time we have entered is a fantastic achievement and something that we are extremely proud of. We are continually striving for customer satisfaction, which is dependent on satisfied employees. As a growing business, with ambitious expansion plans, these awards from the Great Places to Work Institute have been a fantastic tool for us to attract talented employees to come and work for us. It is essential for us to make sure we are there again next year."

Huxley Associates has found the feedback from these surveys invaluable and has used the 2006 UK survey to improve areas such as environment, training and development. We have hired additional support staff, including performance coaches and systems support personnel, and have reviewed our employee incentive schemes.

In 2006 we reviewed our company values and have realigned these to our culture. Pride, Professionalism, Fun, Respect, Creativity and Honesty are ingrained in our working practices and will help us to uphold our reputation as an employer of choice.

Britain's Top Employers 2008

Huxley Associates has been named as one of "Britain’s Top Employers" in recognition of our commitment to our employees for the third consecutive year.

This accolade reflects the importance we place on creating a fantastic working environment for our employees. This year we placed 14th in the Britain's Top Employers book above many of the UK's leading companies

The Britain’s Top Employer 2008 award, in conjunction with the Guardian, is given to companies that impress the judges across a range of areas including pay and benefits, promotion and development, training, diversity, company culture and social responsibility.

The Top Employers study is completed by the Corporate Research Foundation (CRF) - an independent organisation that initiates and co-ordinates international research projects in business worldwide.

Huxley Associates has been named as one of the Great Places to Work in the Netherlands for second consecutive year

This year the Amsterdam-based recruitment consultancy was voted as the country’s seventh best company to work for following an independent assessment by the Great Places to Work Institute.

The results were announced last night during a glitzy ceremony that was held at the Van Nelle Design Factory in Rotterdam.
Company Directors Scott Fulton and Tim Walker were "delighted" to hear that the Huxley Associates had moved up eight places on this prestigious list above many household name companies including Accenture, FedEx Express and American Express
Scott said: ""As part of the assessment our employees were asked to fill out a survey with questions relating to the work environment and their opinions about working for Huxley Associates. It was good to learn that, even though we doubled in headcount, last year we still managed to maintain a very positive culture where people feel they are part of a great company.
"This year we hope with our continued focus on driving excellence in customer service that we will feature even higher on the 2009 list."
 
Every year the Great Place to Work Institute creates lists of the very best places to work in over 30 countries worldwide. Huxley Associates is an international recruitment consultancy and this year its UK division hopes to get onto the Britain’s greatest place to work list for the fifth consecutive year.
Huxley Associates is very proud to have been featured on the Great Place to Work list this year, particularly as the results show that its employees recognise that the camaraderie within the company is one of its unique features.
In the last year Huxley Associates has embraced the feedback from the 2007 survey and has worked tirelessly to improve areas including the award-winning training programme and fantastic incentives scheme.
Now that the 2008 results have been announced, the company is preparing to take on board and react to the comments made by employees in a bid to take the top spot in next year’s competition.

Huxley Associates wins a National Training Award

Our New York office has been named as one of the top 25 places small to medium sized companies to work for in the whole of New York State.

We have worked tirelessly to ensure that all of our offices are fantastic places to work and this award reflects our belief that there is no better recruitment company to work for in the New York area.

We were named as one of the top companies by the New York State Society for Human Resource Management and Best Companies Group. The award is designed to identify, recognize and honor the best places of employment in New York. The list of winners is compiled from the results of an employee survey and by evaluation of workplace policies, practices, philosophy, systems and demographics.

Finalist of European Business Awards 2009

We were delighted to learn that our entries into the 'Employer of the Year' and 'Growth Strategy of the Year' categories of the prestigious European Business Awards had been shortlisted for the finals.

A spokesman for the awards said: "The European Business Awards is much more than just an awards programme. It represents a showcase of Europe's business excellence to the rest of the world. Reaching this stage of the competition is a great accolade and one which all the recipients should be justifiably proud of."

He explained that this the standard of entries has been extremely high this year and anticipated that the judges will have a tough job in deciding the overall category winners during the final round of judging in Rome between the 26th January and the 7th February, 2009.

Top Employers Germany 2009

We are very pleased to announce that our Frankfurt office has been recognised as one of the Top Employers in Germany for 2009. The office was voted into 18th Place overall out of 150 and 5th Place in the category of Corporate Culture.

Huxley is the only recruitment consultancy that made it into the top 20, leaving behind international companies such as Manpower, Hays, Cap Gemini, Ciber, Deutsche Bahn and Coca-Cola. The Frankfurt office is off to a running start this year and the consultants have recently moved to new luxurious premises in the heart of the city.

Manager Boudewijn Vellinga said: " This accolade is a result of the improvements we made over the last few years. We are even more proud to be the only recruitment company in the top 20 of the list.

"I'm extremely proud of the fact that people appreciate our corporate culture as we feel this is a very important aspect of our company identity."
