Huxley Associates is delighted to announce that it has been named as one of the Top 50 Best Workplaces in the UK for the fourth consecutive year and for the first time into the Best Workplaces in The Netherlands (in 15th position).
The reputation of this award is growing as employers realise the importance of ensuring that their employees feel valued. As a result, the competition to receive these accolades is becoming more intense.
The results are based predominately on independent employee surveys covering credibility, respect, fairness, pride and camaraderie. This encompasses the level of trust and quality of relationships that exist through the organisation.

Huxley Associates has found the feedback from these surveys invaluable and has used the 2006 UK survey to improve areas such as environment, training and development. We have hired additional support staff, including performance coaches and systems support personnel, and have reviewed our employee incentive schemes.
In 2006 we reviewed our company values and have realigned these to our culture. Pride, Professionalism, Fun, Respect, Creativity and Honesty are ingrained in our working practices and will help us to uphold our reputation as an employer of choice.

This year the Amsterdam-based recruitment consultancy was voted as the country’s seventh best company to work for following an independent assessment by the Great Places to Work Institute.
Our New York office has been named as one of the top 25 places small to medium sized companies to work for in the whole of New York State.

Finalist of European Business Awards 2009
We were delighted to learn that our entries into the 'Employer of the Year' and 'Growth Strategy of the Year' categories of the prestigious European Business Awards had been shortlisted for the finals.
A spokesman for the awards said: "The European Business Awards is much more than just an awards programme. It represents a showcase of Europe's business excellence to the rest of the world. Reaching this stage of the competition is a great accolade and one which all the recipients should be justifiably proud of."
He explained that this the standard of entries has been extremely high this year and anticipated that the judges will have a tough job in deciding the overall category winners during the final round of judging in Rome between the 26th January and the 7th February, 2009.
Top Employers Germany 2009
We are very pleased to announce that our Frankfurt office has been recognised as one of the Top Employers in Germany for 2009. The office was voted into 18th Place overall out of 150 and 5th Place in the category of Corporate Culture.
Huxley is the only recruitment consultancy that made it into the top 20, leaving behind international companies such as Manpower, Hays, Cap Gemini, Ciber, Deutsche Bahn and Coca-Cola. The Frankfurt office is off to a running start this year and the consultants have recently moved to new luxurious premises in the heart of the city.
Manager Boudewijn Vellinga said: " This accolade is a result of the improvements we made over the last few years. We are even more proud to be the only recruitment company in the top 20 of the list.
