A group of Huxley internal recruiters, consultants and managers from our Brussels office met MBA students from the prestigious Solvay Business School in Brussels recently.
The evening started with a presentation covering topics such as the current job market, global trends in recruitment, and tips to help these future business leaders launch a new stage in their career as well as increase their chances of stepping into the position they want.
The presentation was followed by a workshop, which gave way to an open floor for questions from the delegates to the Huxley panel. This was a fantastic opportunity for the 35 students who attended to get exposure to staffing professionals and networks, thus gaining valuable information and seeing the benefit of using agencies to help them find their next role.
Following the event one student said: "Thank you for the talk and your time at the CV consultation yesterday. The session gave me a deeper insight into how to work with recruitment agencies and I particularly enjoyed the atmosphere that you and your colleagues created. It shows a great company culture and I am sure this also reflects on the way you work with clients and candidates."
Kay Lombardo, Career Advancement Manager at the business school said: "The feedback that we have received from the students who attended the seminar is excellent. They were impressed by the content (especially the job market statistics, the way you work with your clients and the type of relationship you build with the candidates). Your transparency on the topic and to the questions asked as well as your human touch led to a very interactive seminar."
The Solvay Business School is ranked in the FT amongst the Best in Europe and worldwide.
